hi Paul ithink i might take your advice on the deck and leave well alone think it might be a bit of a pig to get of again so i think i will paint them in might open up the forward flood holes though as i can remember seeing film of u boats on the surface and you could see daylight through the holes yours Chris castle felixstowe suffolk yes the very same place a load of german e &s boats surrendered at the end of the war.
