Greg, I'm sorry to disagree with you. Both the CMK kits # N72007 & N72009 are for loading front torpedos through the foward deck. The 007 is for loading at sea while 009 is for loading a dock side it also includes two sailors. In the instructions of 009 it clearly shows the vertical post right on the middle front of the conning tower. I do not think being of center would couse the torpedo to bind as the winch is only used to take the weight of the torpedo, no to guide it.
