While I strongly feel that you are entitled to your opinion, I believe it to be rubbish nevertheless. It is sort of akin to the dead in an ancient burial ground being picked over by archeologists.
They would hardly give their consent to have their bones and artifacts being removed and displayed elsewhere - even in a museum (for arguments sake let's assume they could conceptualize a museum).
Someone who wants to dive for souveneers can go with an underwater torch to a scuttled boat and cut a piece off. There are enough of them around and I presume at convenient depths.
But to pick on a boat known to have gone down with all hands is just too callous for my taste. RB
