If the Type II had any A/A guns then only a very few were fitted with,
later in the war.?? In 1936 , Admiral Karl Doenitz views on the
question of U-boat contruction was, as stated then;
No more Type II, should be buit, the type was too weak in regards
to any armament, rudius of action and speed.
