Hi Don. one more question regarding the tow to Bermuda.You said the towing speed was abt 14kn. Max on the flattop was about 19.5kn or so at 9000 HP max. Looks to me her engines were going flat out the entire trip. Was that enough speed for normal flight ops???? Cant imagine that that you guys would forgo aircover. Why not let a tincan of the task group tow the sub?? They got plenty HP to spare.
