Hi Andrew
Thank you for this info!!
Regretfully my answer to both of your questions below is \"Nothing at all\". My field of interest unfortunately lies very far from the one you ask me about.
An internet search on Danish web-pages didnt show up anything.
I should be going to the library of my university tomorrow, and will let you know if I find out anything.
Yours
Henrik

Hi Henrik
Commander of S-101 was Kapitan-Leitenant (Lieutenant-Commander) E.N.Trofimov, but attack against U 639 was made by Kapitan 2nd Rang (Captain is British equivalent) P.I.Egorov, commander of 5.submarine division, he was on board in this patrol. Kapitan 3rd range (Commander is British equivalent) V.K.Vekke was commander of S-101 until 12.12.1942 only.
Spory Navolok was used as “base†only in August 1943. Two flying boats BV138 were lost in operation “Wunderland IIâ€. In August 1942 during the first operation “Wunderland†U255 also used for refueling of BV138, but temporary base was on Spitzbergen. Two flying boats BV138 were lost in this operation too.
I have one question in return. I’m interesting in Danish merchant, fishing etc vessels losses during World War II. My sole source is bad copy of old Norwegian book “â€Norges, Sveriges og Danmarks handelsflÃ¥ter. Tilgang og avgang i 1940-1945†(Oslo, 1946). What you can recommend about it?
What do you know about Danish steamer “In....
