thanks to all for your thoughts. I would love to know if there's been any instances of subs actually attacking aircraft or helis in actual combat while submerged. Were there any such naval incidents during the Indu-Pakinstani wars? If I remember correctly, India has a numerical superiority, but the Pakis have quite a few subs.
