Was thinking my post was forgotten about.
An average of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes seems reasonable, sea condidtions would allow for varibles times.
My Original thoughts were how quickly a UBoat Captain could fire his torps and get down to a safe depth.
They would have been a very long 2-3 mins
I see you both worked out maths on a dive angle of 10-15 degrees.
What was the max Dive angle a Uboat could obtain And still survive?
