Hi SIP,
Yes, hydraulic ram and pump mounted port side in aft torpedo room. Ram was connected to a tiller arm with vert. axle up thru pressure tight fitting into space below deck casing. There another tiller arm connect thru long horizontal rod (actually thick walled casing) with port tiller of the twin rudders further aft. P&S rudders were connected by separate tiller and rod connection.
