On page #11 of 19, the firing interval for #6 torpedo is listed as
8 seconds. Based on Captain Enright's book "SHINANO" there was a "Check Fire! Get a new setup" order given by the XO, who was the Fire Control Party Coordinator. I can understand the 25 second interval, but this report does not indicate it.
Also, on page #2 of your copy, no mention is made of what type exploder or its serial number was used, but in my referenced report the following appears for Tube #6 on page 11 of 19:
Mk.Exploder: 6-4
Serial No. 19237
This does not appear in Brian's reference either, nor does the 25 sec. interval between #5 and #6 torpedo.
None of the reports report the "Check Fire! Get a new setup".......
