Of course it does, and that's why consumption per mile is important and not consumption per pk/hr, reason why figures of 165gr/hp/hr or 180gr/hp/hr, are very interesting, but no more than that.
My point is that an accuracy of plus/min 1 gram is not realistic. A difference in fuel quality will result in a difference in caloric value and therefore in fuel consumption to produce the same hp - although we should talk about kW instead of hp.

This remark was reason to pour myself an ice cold Guiness, from a can, but better than nothing. You're driving me to drink, Dan, this late in the (Greek) evening!
