The m/v Devis, a british amphibious assault command ship, was torpedoed and sunk 5/7/43 by U-593 off the Algerian coast.
On board were 2 landing craft, one of which sank with the ship, the other floated off. Can anyone identify these LCs, or at least the one which was lost?
Thanks, Brian
