Hi all,
I'm researching a family "myth". My great-grandmother's brother David Alexander was supposed to have served on a submarine called the Stubborn. The legend is that he was sunk three times, but survived to come home and became a ballroom dancer (a competition winner at that) in his spare time. He was also supposed to have received a medal and was involved in the Tirpitz mission "Source".
I'd be overjoyed to get a copy of the crew photo and any information or stories that anybody wanted to share.
