I'm new to this forum, and am looking for guidance from veterans. My grandfather was a merchant seaman during WWII and was sunk in the Caribbean by a u-boat on June 28, 1942 (liberty ship Sam Houston, hull No. 95). One of my few memories of him is hearing him talk about how well he was treated by the u-boat crew (he was briefly held aboard the u-boat). I'd like to find out which boat sank his ship and who the captain was. Is this even possible?
