Plan to dive the French wreck today failed due to adverse weather conditions.
Dive has been postponed for next week. The plan is to follow the prow to see whether the name of the ship was simply painted on the hull or embosed and therefore possibly traceable.
Will definitely tell you how it will go.
Also have already tried contacting the French Navy department to see whether the log book entries for specific days can be traced by the them against a fee. have so far been unsucessful.
