Hi Nigel
"Moresby" was sunk on the position in the reply from David the 28.11.16. U39 was submerged when she hit "Moresby" with a torpedo. In german sources they say it was loaded with ammunition which detonated when she was torpedoed and she therefore sunk within 2 minutes.
