Hi Parmstrong,

Of course I realise the disaster at Gallipoli was caused by a number of factors. Incompetent generals, stubborness and downright stupidity on Churchill's part, gross underestimation of the Turkish response to mention but a few. My point is that by just being there ,the uboat in question had a profound affect on the outcome of the campaign.

In other words the threat itself was greater than it's execution.
