Since my last entry on December 11, 2006 I have found out that the photographs I had were of UB 91. I have done a great deal of research on this submarine and wondered if there are any photographs of her Captain - Wolf-Hans Hertwig and his crew that I could use in my researches.
I have found out that after surrender at Harwich she was taken around the Welsh Ports by a Lt. Brookes to Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Port Talbot and Pembroke Dock, being finally broken-up in Briton Ferry in 1921.
Has anyone information about these visits? I've found newpaper cuttings on her visit to Newport and Swansea but not the other ports.
I've a lot of information on the ships she sank in 1918 and the graves of where some sailors and civilians are buried.
At the moment I would like some information on the development of UB 91 105 mm gun?
Thanks

If anyone is interested I could E mail them a copy of my 6.7mb research.
