You say that the crew of H 5 had been awarded a bounty of 175 Pounds (5 Pounds for every German crewman killed) for the sinking of U 51 in 1916. I have never heard that bounties were paid to warshipmen, and I'm very curious to hear more about it. Where did you find the reference for that bounty?
