From page 76 Dwight Messimer's book Verschollen:
"On 28 July 1919 a British prize court awarded the British submarine H-5 a bounty of £175 for sinking U-51. The award was based upon thirty-five crewmen at £5 per crewman aboard the U-boat. But U-51 had thirty-six men aboard. This is one of the rare instances in which a prize court underapid the bounty."
