Raiders is a good read. However, it is composed of sea stories. Do you know how to tell the difference between a sea story and a fairy tale?
A fairy tale begins "Once upon a time"
A sea story begins "Now this ain't no s**t
Do the math.
:-)
There are things in it that I believe-- Moraht's acccount of the Cattaro barracks, for instance-- which is why I recommended it to Ballast'n'Bilge. The best way to take it is to investigate anything that sounds too farfetched. As Dave did.
