cheers guys

yes I did look up sinkings of U boats in WW1 as listed on this site and there was no mention of the 'ghost' u boat, U 31, as related in the book....thats when my suspicions started to arise :)

all the same an enjoyable read but I am keen to get my hands on something more grounded in reality for my next WW1 U boat book!
