Hello guys,

Simon is right. The commander of the uboat at the time of the laying or seeding
of the mine should be credited with the sinking and not the commander of the boat
when the mine exploded. In this case it should be KptLt. Carl Bunte.

There is another case with U80 and the British trawler Kirkland as pointed out by
Simon S. on another forum. link [1914-1918.invisionzone.com]
KptLt Alfred von Glassenapp should be credited with sinking Kirkland.
