Thanks Ron. I found a reference in a book about the little village of Islandmagee in Co Antrim (where three of the crew came from) which said that the crew were put adrift into two boats. One which included the master vanished and that is why the 15th is given for him and at least one of the others. The book also said there were two naval gunners. Do you mind me asking where this info comes from ? Also do you have a particular interest in the Bray Head. My relative is Moses Alexander Reid who was 19 when he died and had earleir served on the Britannic.
Thanks again
Jim
