I was contacted by the Cromarty Museum with this query about possible U-Boat activity in the Cromarty Firth area in WWI or WWII, can anyone answer their question.
"2. The other enquiry was about Uboats which came into the Cromarty Firth and torpedoed a ship off Cromarty. Did this happen? I don't know if this was First or Second WW. I've heard this story before but don't know if there is any substance to it."
