<HTML>I am interested in any and all information regarding U-352. I have been tasked with a hypothetical scenario of clearing it of any ordnance. AGAIN I SAY "Hypothetical".
I am an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician and as a test of my abilities, this scenario was given to me. My task is to plan a clearance operation (diving) to make the site "safe".
Is it possible to find out the exact ordnance load, and if any ordnance was fired prior to sinking on that fateful day back in 1942? Also interested in any hull penetrations and or the location of any ordnance?
I spent ten years on three different U.S. Submarines from 1984 to 1993 as a navigator.
