Council Plans to put U778 in Maritime Museum in N.Ireland

Hi All

I have just heard some exciting news. U778 lies 16 miles off the North-West coast of Ireland. Salvage plans are being explored to see if this wreck could be raised from the deep and brought ashore. It is a possibility that this U-Boat might be put on display in the Maritime Museum in Derry City in Northern Ireland.
