<HTML>Hi All
Submarines torpodes operate with compress air pressure inside
the tube. However, in order to have wakeless, undetectable "fish",
electric & steam powered torpedos were developed during WWII.
Another system to fire a torpedo from a sub's tube is called the
'Wire powered electric torpedo" the torpedo is propelled from a
submarine via a single conductor, the return path being the sea.
Also before a torpedo can be fired out from a tube, the correct
settings are needed to be set on the torpedo in order for it to hit it's
target...if any? There is no point in "Spilling-out a Fish" if no settings
are made for it to run correctly.
Cheers, Joe</HTML>
