<HTML>Thanks Walter. Tried that. I see there is a naval museum at La Spezia and a reference to 1943. I am not at all interested in current activity - just wartime -u-boat related matters. U-boat.net does not seem to cover this subject at all, as regards this Italian base. I would have thought it must have been covered in several of the German u-boat books?</HTML>
