diary-entry for 7th of aug: sighting 18.30 o`clock,hunting an armed tanker,two torps fired,ship stopped,tanker is listing,captain of the tanker is counterflooding the list.the ship is upright again and not sinking deeper,another torp is fired,suddenly the ship starts moving,torpedo is missing because of sudden movement of the ship,the hunting continues, day brakes and we have the 8th of aug. finally u 109 gets the tanker as described in the previous email of mine</HTML>
