L.A.,
In addition to Ken's suggestion;
[pastfoundation.org] (with an O) is still an active site, they've just moved on with other projects. The U-166/Robert E. Lee project was back in the 2001-2004 timeframe. The information appears to be still on the site, just buried somewhat.
From the [pastfoundation.org] home page, click on 'Programs' from the top toolbar, then click on 'Previous Programs' from either the left toolbar or currently the last option on that page.
Click on the bar that states 'Choose a Program' and scroll way down until you see '2003 U-166' and click on it to bring you to the old page. From the previous list of programs '2004 Deep Gulf Shipwreck of World War II' is related and interesting as well.
Last I knew Andrew Hall, who was part of that team and did most of the website and graphics is running his own very interesting maritime blog called Maritime Texas; [maritimetexas.net]
Andy was a big help to me early on in my research and is a gifted 3D modeler. He was kind enough to provide several of the images I used on my site.
Hope that helps as well.
Best Regards,
