Dear Brian,
following my recent reply. I have just looked at the crew agreement for the Western Prince. I have a full photocopy of the stewards Page for the crew agreement with my dad's details on and your father's name and details are about five places above his on the page. It looks like G L Kirkham aged 29/ discharge number R147932/ from Liverpool/ previous ship= the Manchester Spinner/ engaged as an assistant steward. My father was a bellboy at the time according to the crew agreement. They must have known each other.

Let me have your address and I will send you a copy of the crew agreement page with your father's details on it.
