After reading your posting with carefully in regards to the U297 wreck,
I have too agree with Rainer\'s posting this time...without doubt.
The snorkel device deing torn off during a D/C attack, does not really
sink a U-boat. I do think that another review of the wreck is needed
to see the real damage cause by her during the D/C attack.
