Like most of Chatterton's "Deep Sea Detectives" airings, most of the time is spent on graphics, speculation and melodrama. This
presentation bases it's conclusions on the two extended or not extended radio masts. What's the difference whether or not they were extended? The U-boat could still launch its torpedoes on the
surface or submerged........
He mentions chain used to moor the mines. Never heard of chain
being used, but steel wire-rope mooring cables, yes. He didn't find any chain, either.
I'm open for any comment.
