And to take it a step further, even if the radio masts are a red herring, the basic story stays pretty much the same. The UB 107 was lost first and the Malvina sank on top of her. How could UB 107 have sunk then? Either through accident/marine casuality or hitting a mine. John Chatterton saw nothing to indicate a mine hit, though given the viz and state of the wreck that's not absolute conclusive.
