The ferryhill lost to a mine on 22.01.40 in the Firth of Forth, both U 22 & U 61 had earlier laid mines in that area and i have two different sources crediting the loss to each of the 2 boats. Is the minefields pos known from each boat to confirm which boat was responsible ?
