Hi Rainer, thankyou for that, but didn't U 61 lay a second field on the 11th ? According to Wynn, it was to supplement one by u 21 in the Firth of Forth but due to local patrol craft she did not reach that area. He is uncertain as where the mines & how many were laid. - john
