<HTML>I remember reading here a comment one time that Hitler probably never set a foot on a U-boat. Unfortunately, as I found out tonight, we can not claim to be unfouled by the man. Was looking through a book on te U-bootwaffe tonight. Osprey\'s Elite Series, #60 \"U-Boat Crews 1914-1945 by G. Williamson and D. Pavlovic. On page 10 there is a pic of the Evil One on a tour of a Type I or II prior to 1936.(Something about the design of the officer\'s caps being pre-36.) tjk</HTML>
