jean-noel, my initial thought was the same. and for sure U-450 was with the ninth from 6.43 to 11.43 but i find U-96 was with the seventh from 9.40 to 3.43, the twentyfourth from 4.43 to 7.44 and the twentysecond from 7.44 to 2.45. She was, of course, destroyed during a USAAF raid on Wilhelmsheven harbour on 30.3.45. It may be that one emblem (U-450) was a flotilla one and the U-96 an individual one.
