indeed these brave men do deserve thier place in history. I have a book by franz kurowski translated from german, published in 1995, entitled knight's cross holders of the u-boat service. not sure if its your book however it does include photo's and details of heinz prassdorf and heinz sieder. also included karl jackel listed as kurt. just a thought but are heinrich witt and hans witt ( u-129 & u-3524) two different aces?. hans is listed, heinrich isnt. all the best schalke.
