Check the C.T. section you will find K.Kapt. Hans-Ludwig WITT commanded U 129, U 161 (twice) & U 3524.

There is also K.Kapt. Helmut WITTE U 159.

Both of these officers were awarded the R.Krz d. E.K.

There is no mention of a Heinrich Witt as a U-boat commander.
