Hello all!
All that was important, the most important!
But, when searching through Ultra messages, I think that radar was some kind of bait for the Germans.
Please, don't get me wrong, of course that radar was important, but the Germans tried to pick up higher and higher frequencies (lower and lower wavelengths) of the allied radar, down to 3 cm wavelength, and they blamed also allied agents for obtain information about U-boats, and they didn't blame their own ciphers and codes.
Of course, like everything, it is simplification, but very correct picture of what happened.
By the way, I think that the Kriegsmarine worried about its Enigma and possibility of codebreaking. because of that, they introduced four-rotors Enigma machines, but who could to figure the Bombe, except few very smart British, just one example- Alan Turing.
The Germans knew that the allied codebreakers would try to break enciphered messages by means of frequently used words and phrases, because of that they ordered that some phrases had to be written differently, like:
BDU= BBBDDUUUUU
It is just one example, of course.
But, the Bombe was great achievement, and helped in antisubmarine war a lot.
Of course, the allies used all sources to obtain informations, and they had great cooperation, but Ultra was the most important.
About Ultra messages, you may go to:
[www.uboatarchive.net]
and you will find them all, thanks to Capt. Jerry Mason and his wife Charla Mason!
Of course, my opinion about Ultra is my personal opinion and all opinion are welcomed!
Best regards!

P.S. Compliments to all Brits worked in BP, if they visit this site! Well done!
