Beside the "blackout" before Bletcheley Park broke M4; also consider this.

ULTRA gave long term feedback on various successes & failures. I don't have specific U-Boat examples to cite, but I recall reading of the break that revealed that OKW had canceled Sea Lion. Knowing that allowed the British to stop worrying about preparing for that battle and move on.

I believe there were intercepts about the Metox ploy; this would have helped play the Germans into not looking for centimeter RADAR earlier.
