That is plus some information about Mr. Erich Lothar Martin CO of U 776.
Before serving in the U-bootwaffe served in the Seeluftwaffe.
06/1940-01/06/1943 1.Bordfliegerstaffel/Bordfliegergruppe 196/Schlachtschiff Scharnhorst
12/05/1945 Surrendered at Weyymouth with all the crew of U 776 after received a radio message from BdU with instructions. Detained after capitulation. British war custody in P.O.W Camp 18 located at Featherstone-England. Freed in 18-05-1948
01/05/1965 in to the German Federal Navy and left this in 1970 as a Fregattenkapitän a.D.
