Hi Rainer

I have just returned from the Deutsches U-Boot-Museum-Archiv. I have searched the KTB of U-96 and discovered that there are no more entries after February 1943. I did further searches but could find no evidence involving U-96 in the evacuation.
I was informed by my German Friend that the following U-boats all left Pillau in January 1945 with refugees and were landed in Kiel. U56,57,U58,U59,U152,U1306. I
am very interested in U152 but I will have to do further research when I re-visit the Archiv next year.

Kind Regards
Denis
