Guten tag

Thanks for your input. Yes I am confused as I thought it would be the 1WO who would have taken over. This is one of my subject questions I was asked to answer in my history GCSE class. One of my favourite movies is Das Boot, so if the captain had been killed in the raid would the 1W0 officer there have taken over?

I hope I am not asking stupid things. I didn't want to do an essay on this and get my facts wrong?

Can yu also ask what if questions on hier, or does it have to be factual questions? Vielen dank
