I guess the correct name today is Libelle, but older German names are "Teufelsnadel" or "Augenstecher"
In my language, Norwegian, libelle is used for the scientific name of insects of the sub-order Anisoptera, however in common language we use Øyenstikker which is probably why I chose Augenstecher as translation. (In Norwegian a Libelle means the tool "level" used by carpenters).
