The resources here at uboat.net don't point to any close match to your attack. There are several sunk U-Boats near Algeria, even near Bone (now Annaba). But the timing and circumstances don't seem to permit a match yet. It is quite possible, therefore, that the U-Boat survived and that its logbook (KTB ) might reflect the attack. (There are many examples of claimed kills in which the U-Boat survived.) One would need to search the KTBs of the U-Boats off the coast of eastern Algeria in early June 1943. Hope this helps.
