<HTML>Dear Kameraden,
Long time no see! I hope all is well here on board.
Well, I don\'t think that \"Mein wechselvolles Leben\" has an English version--I have spent a lot of time trying to find it in vain. Finally, in order to satisfy my curiosity for Doenitz\'s life, I have to labor through the book in German (thank God with the generous help of a German friend on this net).
This book is also a good read, especially if you\'re interested in him as a man, in his childhood, early life and career path, etc.
MPC, if you don\'t mind, I\'d like to make a small correction to your post: \"Mein wechselvolles Leben\" is not translated as \"My wonderful life\", but something like \"My everchanging life\". The word \"wechselvoll\" means everchanging while \"wunderbar\" means wonderful.
Well, even though I know that I may not in the position to discuss questions about German language as my German is still very bad, however, I just can\'t help. Hopefully my bad German can survive the muster of our German friends here. )
Have fun,
Ying</HTML>
