Young Dönitz escapade

<HTML>Before joining the U service, young Doenitz served also on light cruiser \"Breslau\" during her famous escapade through the Mediterranean Sea along with heavy cruiser \"Goeben\" up to a Turkish base
The \"Goeben\", renamed \"Yavuz\" saw active service till 1970. What a chance the \"Preservationists\" lost when she was finally sold for a song and scrapped!
